Hi Pen Fans!

The piston filler prototypes are complete, and I'm going into production.  This pen will be called The Brockton.

This will be a limited edition of 50.  25 in black acrylic and 25 in orange acrylic.

I am taking orders starting today.  With a steel nib, the pen is $325.  With a gold nib, the pen is $400.

Orders will begin shipping late May, maybe earlier.

For now, email me if you are interested.  I'll have a web page for purchasing very soon.

The pens are shown above without any engraving.  The engraving will be very subtle, and will read:

Brockton LE  1 of 50

As with any of my pens, any custom grind on the nib will be available.

The piston mechanism is activated by turning a permanent, non-removeable blind cap as seen in the following video (if the video doesn't play, press the 'reload' button on the lower left).

Hi Pen Fans!

Chicago was a a blast.  I had a chance to meet more of my clients, shake hands, and sell some pens!

I'll be on a much needed vacation this week, returning to the lathe on Monday the 11th.

I'll be camping with my family, so internet access is doubtful.  If I don't return emails, then you'll know why.

The piston filler is now at the stage of a working prototype and is ready for production.

I anticipate to make an official announcement on the 11th, and then I'll be shipping orders late May.

Hi Pen Fans.

Next week, I will be attending the Chicago Pen Show.

I'll have my full inventory there, along with at least a prototype, if not a complete version for the new piston fIller.

Speaking of, the piston filler is scheduled to be in full production after May 11th. 

And lastly, I'm taking a much needed vacation the week of May 4th.

More updates to come.  If I'm not great with emails this coming week, you'll know why.

Hi Pen Fans!

The Edison Pen Company is proud to now distribute Sailor Ink.

Ever since I started collecting and making pens, I've been on the search for my favorite ink.  My opinion is that hands down, Sailor is the best.

Of course, any ink can be used in my pens, but Sailor gets my endorsement. 

I would encourage you to use this ink especially if you have an ink window pen of mine.  Some inks can stain an ink window, whearas Sailor will not (with the exception of the Nano Black).
