Sailor Ink

The Edison Pen Company is proud to introduce and endorse Sailor Ink.

Throughout my time penmaking and collecting, I've been on the search for the best line of ink not only for my own personal preferences, but also a line of ink where I feel comfortable endorsing their use in my pens.

Some other ink manufacturers certainly have many inks that are fantastic, but I've never found a line of ink where I love EVERY offering by the manufacturer.

My opinion is that hands down, Sailor is the best ink that I've used.  Every color exceeds my expectations.  Feathering qualities, viscosity, vibrancy, drying time...every property that I look for in a good ink is represented by every color of Sailor.

Nano Black (Kiwa Guro)


Sailor Nano Black (or Kiwa Guro) is Sailor's waterproof ink.  It is suitable for important documents requiring archival qualities.

Note - due to the alkaline content of Sailor Ink, you should not mix Sailor Ink with any other ink.  It is alright to mix two Sailor colors (except the Nano), but do not mix any Sailor ink with any other manufacturer's ink.
